Tillu 3 in the works confirms the producer
At the press meet, producer Naga Vamsi confirmed that they are gearing up for a third part. "We will be making Tillu 3, right now it isn¡¯t announced at the end of Tillu Square. We¡¯ll insert an official announcement from Monday."
Talking about the film, Siddu said, "The intention wasn't to make a better film. When a character receives such love, we wanted to make a film that sustains it. Sequels rarely work, so I knew Tillu Square would work as a film, but wasn¡¯t sure it would as a sequel."
Furthermore, he added, "I think Tillu is like a ticking time bomb, he has a lot of scope to be funny depending on the situations he¡¯s in."
Furthermore, talking to The Hindu, Siddu Jonnalagadda was initially skeptical about taking up the sequel. He said, "There were also times when an episode would turn out so well that the effort seemed worth it. At the end of the day, what matters is whether I worked with honesty and was not driven only by the motive of becoming a star. We all tried to tell a story in an entertaining manner."
The original film was directed by Vimal Krishna. However, the sequel also starring
Anupama
has been directed by Mallik Ram.
