Legendary singer Usha Uthup stuns the internet with her rendition of Adele's Skyfall in her signature saree. Fans were left in awe of her powerful voice, with some even jokingly comparing her to Adele, saying, 'Adele who?'
No one has a voice like Usha Uthup. Her powerful baritone is so distinct that the legendary singer remains relevant five decades later as well. The legendary singer has once again set the internet ablaze with an old video in which she is singing popular English singer-songwriter Adele's popular track Skyfall has resurfaced.

Donning her signature saree, Bindi and bangles, the evergreen diva took on Adele¡¯s iconic song in a way only she could, and people are simply bowled over. The internet can't get enough. While some are saying, "Adele who?", others say Adele can never do what she can do.
"Usha Uthup can easily sing Skyfall but can Adele would never be able to sing Koi Yaha Nache Nache," a user commented. "Usha can be Adele, Adele can¡¯t be Usha," said another one. "She was Adele before Adele was Adele," another comment read. "What a polished voice she has. Wish I could imitate even 1% of that. Such a legend," read a fourth comment. "Bro I saw her perform in one of the Jaipur Literary Fest. Trust me it's SO GOOD", another user added.
Why Usha Uthup is not working in Bollywood anymore, ask fans
Some fans wondered why she isn't getting more work saying that Bollywood couldn't ulitise her amazing talent. "Bollywood failed to capitalize on her voice. She could have sung for many male actors (if not for female actors). Even a background voice of her would have added a spark... but no... Bollywood failed to recognize her true worth. Not that she needs Bollywood's validation."
Usha Uthup started her singing journey at a nightclub
Usha Uthup who is known for popularising jazz in India started her career as a nightclub singer in 1969 and faced skepticism because of her appearance. A recipient of Padma Bhushan, Uthup ruled the charts during in '70s and '80s. Her song including Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Hari Om Hari, Shaan Se, Ramba, Koi Yahan Aha Nache Nache, Doston Se Pyar Kiya and Darling are still people's favourites. She last sang the title track for Drishyam 2.
