People React To Viral Video Of Woman Falling At Feet Of Arun Govil, Who Played Lord Ram On TV
A video of a woman falling at Ramayan actor Arun Govil's feet at the airport has gone viral on the internet.
A video of a woman kneeling down in front of Ramayan actor Arun Govil and praying to him at the airport has gone viral on the internet.
According to the video shared on Twitter, the woman became emotional as she saw Arun Govil, who played the role of Lord Ram in the popular Hindu mythological television series Ramayana.
Arun was accompanied by his wife at the airport who looks on as the woman lay at her husband's feet seeking blessings from the actor.
The viral video shows Arun Govil standing with his hands joined as he's awestruck after the woman in a saffron saree suddenly approaches him and kneels down on all fours to bow in front of him.
It can be understood from the actor's gesture that he's telling the woman's fellow traveller to stop her and get up from his feet. But instead, even the man is seen touching the floor, seeking his blessing just inches away from Arun's feet while those present at the airport simply looked on.
Later in the video, Arun is seen placing a yellow cloth around the woman's neck as she prays to him with tears in her eyes.
Here's the video:
Exactly 35 years ago, Ramayan aired for the first time in 1987.
