Who is Vedang Raina?
Jigra is not Vedang's debut movie. He made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies, which also starred Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda and Suhana Khan among others. In the OTT release, he essayed the role of Reggie Mantle.
Vedang's schooling and idols
Born in 2000, Vedang has completed his schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School and pursued his bachelor's degree from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. His acting journey began in school and college. He considers Hrithik Roshan and Matthew McConaughey as his inspiration.
Vedang is rumoured to be dating Janhvi Kapoor's sister Khushi Kapoor
While none of them have confirmed the rumours, it is said that Vedang and Khushi are in a relationship. They have often been spotted together at many public events. At his recent appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, he was teased with Khushi's name, which left Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar laughing.

Before, he discovered his penchant towards acting, Vedang was more interested in music. He even plays guitar. On his YouTube channel, he has uploaded a lot of covers of songs.

In an interview with IMDb, he was quoted as saying, "I believe there are several actors poised for success. Vedang Raina, in particular, will break out in the industry. Over the next year, we will see many of these rising talents everywhere."

Calling him hardworking, Alia Bhatt said that her Jigra co-star reminds her of Ranveer Singh. "Vedang is fabulous. He is amazing. I don't think he knows how amazing he is. I told him when we did a very important scene, where he was crying, that one good thing is that you cry prettily and it's a good thing for a Hindi film hero. He is so hardworking. He is also very instinctive but also has some sort of prep. He reminded me a lot of Ranveer Singh and I told him this as well," she said.
