According to Sacnilk, Chhaava earned Rs 10.75 crore on Day 24 (March 9). This includes Rs 8.5 crore from the Hindi belt. The Telugu collections for the three days have been Rs 2.5 crore (opening), Rs 3.25 crore and Rs 2.25 crore. This takes film¡¯s domestic net to Rs 519.8 crore. With a domestic gross of Rs 620.3 crore and overseas total of Rs 85 crore, Chhaava¡¯s worldwide total reaches Rs 705.3 crore.

This historical action film revolves around the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the legendary Maratha king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The narrative begins with the death of Shivaji Maharaj, an event that threatens the stability of the Maratha Empire. Anticipating the collapse of Maratha resistance, Aurangzeb orders a celebration. However, leadership passes to his son, Sambhaji, who continues to defy Mughal forces.
