Somy Ali called out the Harvey Weinstein of Bollywood in an Instagram post. The former Bollywood star also tagged actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the post. Harvey Weinstein was convicted for rape and sexual assault against two women.
The #MeToo movement gathered momentum in the year 2017 in Hollywood and one of the names that came up repeatedly during the same was Harvey Weinstein. Several Hollywood actresses, models and other women came out and narrated their ordeal, accusing Harvey of serious allegations ranging from rape to sexual harassment.

On March 11, 2020, Harvey Weinstein was put behind bars and was sentenced to 23 years of prison when he was convicted for rape and sexual assault against two women. The other women who had spoken against him celebrated the day and thus began the downfall of the infamous movie mogul, credited with more than 200 films.
And now, according to former Bollywood actress Somy Ali, the 'Harvey Weinstein of Bollywood' will also soon be unmasked.

In an Instagram post, Somy Ali called out the 'Harvey Weinstein of Bollywood' and said that he will soon be exposed. The former Bollywood star also tagged actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the post.
Somy Ali wrote, "The Harvey Weinstein of Bollywood! You will be exposed. The women you abused will come out one day and share their truth. Just like @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb."
Commenting on her post, model-actress Nikkiey Chawla wrote, "CanĄ¯t even imagine for a sec what all those girl might have gone throughĄ that emotional trauma. Kudos to u my darling for raising voice and @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb."

Somy Ali was seen in 90s films like Anth, Krishan Avtaar, Aao Pyaar Karen and Andolan among others. The actress is known to have dated superstar Salman Khan in the 90s.
Earlier, in a conversation with Zoom, Somy had revealed the reason of their breakup. She had said, "He cheated on me and I broke up with him and left. ItĄ¯s as simple as that."
