Was it an actual Taylor Swift guitar?
If you're thinking that the guitar was owned by the pop sensation, you're wrong. It was a normal guitar that had a lot of her photos and an autographed Midnights CD insert. No, Swift didn't sign it herself. She signed on a paper that was later glued to the guitar's body, just like her photos. Still, why would someone destroy it?
But why did he destroy it?
The 67-year-old Gary Estes revealed, "It was just a joke at an auction that we had to raise money for kids, right? And that's all it was. There was nothing mean about it, nothing bad about it. It was just a joke that they were making up on the stage, and we just followed through with a joke." For those who don't know, the guitar was given to Ellis County Wild Game Dinner, a non-profit event supporting agricultural education for local youth, which had out ut on sale to fund education for underprivileged kids.
It's up for sale again!
Now, the guitar has been put on sale again. It's being auctioned on Ebay. The latest bid is worth $7,600 (Rs 6,38,085). The actuation will close on October 8. Let's see who'll put more money on the iconic Taylor Swift guitar and what they do with it.
