Max, starring Kiccha Sudeep, hit the screens on December 25 and opened to a good response at the box office. The action thriller also received rave reviews with fans praising the performances. The film was compared to Ravi Teja¡¯s Krack ahead of its release. Both films feature a cop as a central character and revolve around what happens on a fateful night. Sudeep has finally addressed the similarities.
Sudeep addresses similarities between Max and Krack
Sudeep, the star of films such as Vikrant Rona and Eega, is in the limelight because of his latest film Max. There is a perception that the action-thriller is a remake of Ravi Teja¡¯s Telugu biggie Krack. In a recent interview with News 18 Kannada, Deepanna answered a question about the similarities between the films. He said that he hasn¡¯t seen the Telugu film but hopes that Krack is similar to Max.
¡°I have done remakes before. I have no hesitation to call a remake a remake. I haven¡¯t seen Krack .I hope it looks similar somewhere,¡± he said.
He then added ¡®Max is Max and not Krack¡¯, implying his film has its own identity.
Krack, which hit the screens in 2021, is an actioner that explores the clash between a Circle Officer and a gangster. Directed by Gopichand, it featured Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan in the lead.
