The alarming attack on actor Saif Ali Khan, who was stabbed by an unidentified intruder at his residence on Thursday morning, has left not just Bollywood but the entire nation in shock. Now, Kartik Aaryan, the star of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, has shared his thoughts on the incident.

He acknowledged the challenges posed by the relentless attention, saying, "In some cases, it does get quite extreme, but it is important we understand that they are doing it for a living."
Kartik highlighted the interdependence between celebrities, media, and photographers, calling it "a symbiotic relationship." However, he concluded with a somber note, "There is no solution for it per se."
Although Kartik Aaryan has never collaborated with Saif Ali Khan, he did star alongside Saif's daughter, Sara Ali Khan, in Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal.
What happened in the Saif Ali Khan stabbing incident
The ordeal unfolded around 2 a.m. on Thursday when an intruder broke into Saif and Kareena's son, Jeh's room.
Nurse Eliyama Philip, who first encountered the man, recalled waking to see a thin figure armed with a wooden stick and a blade resembling a hacksaw. As she attempted to alert Saif and Kareena, the intruder silenced her with threats.
Hearing the disturbance, Saif confronted the man but was overpowered in the struggle. The attacker fled after assaulting the actor. Security footage showed the suspect leaving the premises at 2:33 a.m., dressed in a brown collared shirt and a red scarf (gamcha).
Authorities are actively investigating, following various leads to locate the suspect.
Saif was immediately taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery performed by a team of specialists. By Thursday afternoon, his team confirmed that he was stable and had been moved to the ICU.
In a statement yesterday night, Kareena Kapoor Khan acknowledged that it "has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded."
