Kangana Ranaut is stepping into a new venture, and this time, it's all about food and breathtaking views! After making headlines as a newly elected MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, and debuting as a solo director with Emergency, she's now set to open her very own caf¨¦¡ªThe Mountain Story¡ªin her home state. From the first glimpse, the caf¨¦ looks nothing short of dreamy, nestled amidst picturesque hills. And in her unique style, she has even invited Deepika Padukone to be her first guest!
On Wednesday, she shared a throwback clip from a 2013 roundtable discussion where she was asked about her future plans.
While Deepika Padukone casually said she'd still be acting, Kangana had a different answer¡ªshe dreamed of opening a caf¨¦ with a global menu.
"I'd like to open a restaurant where I'd like to have the world menu. I've eaten all over the world, and I'm carrying amazing recipes. I'd like to have a very very beautiful, little cafeteria somewhere. I'm very good with food," she said.
Deepika even joked, "I'll be your first client!"
Fast forward to today, Kangana is making that dream a reality with The Mountain Story, her soon-to-open caf¨¦ in Himachal.
And in a playful twist, she's now inviting Deepika to keep her word and be the caf¨¦'s first guest! She wrote, "If walking the talk had a face ha ha it would be me¡ also @deepikapadukone you should be my first client."
However, things haven't always been smooth between the two actresses.
From Kangana refusing to sign a petition supporting Deepika during Padmaavat's controversies to recently calling her role in the film "irrelevant," their history has been anything but friendly.
Meanwhile, Kangana is gearing up for her next project, where she will reunite with R. Madhavan for an exciting new film.
