Loveyapa Vs Badass Ravi Kumar Box Office Collection Day 3: Which Hindi entertainer won the first-weekend test?
Last Friday saw one of the most notable clashes of Bollywood - Loveyapa Vs Badass Ravi Kumar. Here¡¯s how their earnings worked out on the first weekend and what their latest box office report suggests.
Loveyapa Vs Badass Ravi Kumar: On 7th February, two of the highly-anticipated Hindi films clashed at the box office and strangely performed entirely opposite to expectations. While Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor¡¯s theatrical debut Loveyapa was expected to open big among all other new releases, it was easily eaten by Himesh Reshammiya¡¯s musical-actioner Badass Ravi Kumar. Sadly, even after its first weekend, there has been no change in this box office report.
Loveyapa Box Office Collection Day 3
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Loveyapa earned Rs 1.75 crore on Day 3 (9th February) which is about a 6% increase from its Day 2 collections which was Rs 1.65 crore. The India net currently stands at Rs 4.55 crore which makes its worldwide total so far - Rs 5.35 crore. This is 26% less than Badass Ravi Kumar¡¯s total.
Badass Ravi Kumar Box Office Collection Day 3
Sacnilk reports Badass Ravi Kumar¡¯s Day 3 collection as 1.4 crore which is about a 30% decrease as compared to its Day 2 collections which was Rs 2 crore. With this calculation, the worldwide total of Himesh Reshammiya¡¯s film currently stands at Rs 7.25 crore. These numbers are 35% higher than Loveyapa¡¯s total collection.
In the first weekend test, Badass Ravi Kumar is clearly a winner, however, both the films are earning too less in comparison to other movies currently in theatres. Re-releases like Sanam Teri Kasam and Interstellar are winning the box office game despite having been originally released about a decade ago. On the southern belt, Vidaamuyarchi and Thandel are also performing quite well.
