The film was to be released in theatres nearly a decade ago but that did not happen because of financial reasons. Despite the delay, Madha Gaja Raja has managed to create a buzz among audiences with its fun-filled trailer. This should help it open to a good response at the box office.

Vishal, one of the most popular names in Tamil cinema, is in the news because of his latest film Madha Gaja Raja. The action comedy hit the screens today amid decent fanfare. According to Ramesh Bala, a trade tracker, it is set to open to a good response in Tamil Nadu and collect Rs 5 crore at the box office.

¡°I feel Madha Gaja Raja will do around Rs 5 crore in Tamil Nadu on the first day, ¡° he told India Times.

The film has received positive reviews, which should work in its favour. It may also benefit from the mixed response to Arun Vijay¡¯s Vanangaan. It may, however, face some competition from Game Changer as it is directed by Tamil filmmaker Shankar.
