According to Sacnilk, Mere Husband Ki Biwi earned just Rs 60 lakhs on Day 4 (February 24) and successfully failed its first Monday test. The film has been sadly eaten away by the craze of Vicky Kaushal¡¯s Chhaava and bad word of mouth. With India's net of Rs 5.05 crore, domestic gross of Rs 6 crore and overseas total of Rs 75 lakhs, Mere Husband Ki Biwi's worldwide total has reached Rs 6.75 crore. Seeing the current status, it¡¯d be great luck for the movie to even gross Rs 15 crore in its lifetime.

The Times of India rated the movie 3 out of 5 and a part of their review read, ¡°The film begins on an entertaining note, with humourous banter between Ankur and his best friend, Rehan. While this rom-com treads familiar ground with a predictable love story, it has its moments that entertain and elicit laughter.¡±
