Tokyo started as an annoying character but eventually turned out to be a hero in Money Heist season 5 volume 1.
We are not Arturo! We are not going to annoy you!

It's the beginning of the end!
The much-awaited first part of season 5 is out, and the last episode of the same has left fans in tears, shock and despair.
Despite many fan theories that Tokyo (played by ?rsula Corber¨®) would be the only one who survives since she is the narrator of the story, the most badass character has died.

Fans hadn't still processed the dead Niarobi, and then this happened in the middle of a war, which is more about surviving and not winning for the robbers.
A fighter, an impulsive decision-maker, a devoted lover -- that's what best describes Tokyo. But now we shall talk about her in past tense because she is no more. Being the badass robber and person that she was, in Money Heist season 5 volume 1, she took along Gandia with her avenging the death of her friend Niarobi like a boss.
This scene made my cry for #Tokyo's death, and give smile for #Nairobi's revenge, Gandia son of f***ing b*tch#MoneyHeistSeason5 #LCDP5 pic.twitter.com/48cCfwUDsN

Tokyo went from being an annoying character at the beginning to becoming a hero in the end!
Tokyo wasn't loved by all initially. She was selfish sometimes, very reckless and impulsive. She has put her fellow robbers in trouble. Some people couldn't stand her and thought she had personality issues. Indeed, her past life wasn't easy. She lost her lover, not once but twice.
You maybe annoying at times but still one of the best girl! #MoneyHeist #Tokyo #MoneyHeistSeason5 pic.twitter.com/JHAXZhKekU

She was 14 years old, when she joined her boyfriend into the world of crime. They robbed 15 times together. During their last heist, she lost him. This effects her so deep that she almost had a mental breakdown. That's when Professor chooses her to join her gang after she, a fugitive, goes back at her home to meet her mother for the last time, before embarking on a ship. Professor saves her life by telling her that her mother's home is surrounded by the Police.
She was the first one to join the gang. When she arrived, she had tiffs with Berlin. She wouldn't respond to Professor's check-up calls. She began taking extreme measures too, and thus she would often complicate plans and lose her calm very easily.
Later on, she even had small beef with Lisbon. Not everyone was a fan of Tokyo because of her impulsive behaviour. She would act before thinking.
In the last four seasons, I want her to die because she's annoying and selfish, but now I love her. She became selfless and now she care for her colleagues. Tokyo's death is not just a heroic death but also an iconic one. A big character lost?

Tokyo was emotional. She was protective about the people she loved.
In the end, when she avenged Niarobi's death, she proved her friendship. When she loved Rio, she loved him unconditionally.

Why are you crying its just a scene.
The scene: pic.twitter.com/59q6QLu3MM
She was courageous too. She had the guts to stand up for herself and for the gang. She redeemed herself in season 4 and emerged a hero in season 5. She was dedicated to Professor, only cared about her gang, loved her heist family and selflessly encouraged Rio to love a new life.
Tokyo might not have been fan's favourite but she died a hero in Money Heist season 5 Volume 1.
I'm gonna cry about this death for my whole life. But give credit where credit is due. Tokyo being bad ass one last time. THE BEST DEATH SCENE.
