The film hit the screens today (January 31) much to the delight of fans. The action thriller has garnered attention with its intense trailer. Moreover, Shahid¡¯s bindass new avatar too has piqued the curiosity of the audience. These factors are expected to help it take a decent start at the box office.
Deva to open on a decent note
Shahid Kapoor is in the limelight because of his latest film Deva, which hit the screens today. According to Manobala Vijayabalan, a trade analyst, the action thriller is likely to collect between Rs 5 crore and Rs 7 crore on the first day. He added that the buzz surrounding the film is ¡®too low¡¯.
¡°Buzz is too low to be honest. The film is expected to take an opening of between Rs 5 crore and Rs 7 crore . If the word-of-mouth is highly positive, we can expect a higher figure,¡± he told Indiatimes.
Deva is Shahid Kapoor¡¯s first release after Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which hit the screens last year and did well at the box office. He will be hoping to keep the momentum going with this action thriller.
