Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh, the NCB¡¯s counsel said that the bail applications were not maintainable before the Magistrate's court. Singh also added that Court will first decide if the applications can be heard before it or they need to be heard before a special NDPS court.

He has been kept in the quarantine cell of Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail.

Though his RT-PCR report is negative, as per new jail guidelines, any new accused should be kept in a quarantine cell for seven days.
