We all miss the magic of the 90s, don't we? The lives were simpler yet full of fun; there were no smartphones and no high-speed internet too. One thing that was constant was films and entertainment.

Most people would agree that the 90s was the golden age of films and TV. Don't you remember the amazing films you watched as kids and how much they meant to you? While we all remember the lead actors, these below-mentioned supporting actors did a fabulous job too. Here is a list of the icons that made our childhood awesome.

1. Rajat Bedi

Rajat Bedi mostly played the role of a villain who would be after the heroine of the movie. He would always end up being in trouble. From Jaani Dushman to Koi.. Mil Gaya to International Khiladi, he made an impact on the audiences with several films. Do you know he moved to Vancouver, Canada to pursue business?

2. Laxmikant Berde

Predominantly a Marathi actor, Laxmikant Berde starred in many Bollywood films like Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Mere Sapno Ki Rani, Aarzoo, Saajan, Beta, 100 Days and Anari. Did you know he started his career as an employee in the production company Marathi Sahitya Sangh and then went on to become an actor. He died in 2004 due to a kidney ailment at the age of 50.

3. Deepak Tijori

One of the great actors of his time, Deepak Tijori played mostly supporting roles alongside actors including Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. His notable works include in film like Khiladi, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Jo Jeet Wohi Sikandar, Aashiqui, Ghulam, Sadak and many more.

4. Kader Khan

We have all adored him the role of father, husband and uncle in iconic roles of the 80s and 90s, the era in which he ruled the silver screen and added a unique flavour to all his films. Kader Khan has played many versatile roles in films like Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri, Aankhen, Coolie No 1, Saajan Chale Sasural, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Dulhe Raja and TV shows like Hasna Mat. He passed away at the age of 81 in 2018 after suffering from supranuclear palsy, a degenerative disease

5. Razak Khan

Remember Manikchand in Baadshah, Takkar Pehelwan in Akhiyon Se Goli Maare, Ninja Chacha in Hello Brother, and Babu Bisleri in Hungama? Unfortunately, Razak Khan has left us for his heavenly abode, but the roles he played and the films he was a part of continue to enthrall and entertain us. He died of heart attack at the age of 65.

6. Guddi Maruti

Guddi Maruti started her career at the age of 10 as a child artist in the film Jaan Haazir Hain. She has acted in about 100 movies that include Khiladi, Shola Aur Shabnam, Aashik Aawara, Dulhe Raja and Biwi No. 1. She was last seen in Kaamyaab playing herself.

7. Harish Patel

Remember Harish Patel aka Ibu Hatela from Gunda, in the movie? He mostly played negative roles and as children, we all hated him. Remember the shopkeeper from Mr.India who wouldn't give the orphaned kids food? If you're wondering what he is up to, he has been doing small roles in Hollywood movies. He was last seen in Marvel's Eternals. Don't we miss him in Bollywood films too?

8. Javed Khan Amrohi

He has featured in over 150 films in his career so far and we are sure most of us don't even know his real name yet. His best works include films like Oscar-nominated Lagaan, Andaz Apna Apna, Coolie No 1, Phir Hera Pheri, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Chak De!. He was also seen in TV shows like Nukkad, Mirza Ghalib, CID and Kirdaar among others.

9. Shashi Kiran

In his career spanning over four decades, Shashi Kiran has essayed many roles. He was usually cast in comedy roles in films like Coolie No. 1, Akele Hum Akele Tum, Judwaa, Hero No. 1, Yes Boss, Deewana Mastana, Jodi No.1, Baghban, Partner and Bhoothnath among others.

10. Dinesh Hingoo

Among many other iconic characters from the films, his most favourite is Jhingaa from Hera Pheri. Dinesh Hingoo has featured in over 400 films in his career spanning over five decades including Baazigar, Coolie No. 1, Akele Hum Akele Tum, Judaai, Gupt, Dulhe Raja, Baadshah, Hum Saath Saath Hain and Hera Pheri. He is most remembered for his impersonations including that of a Parsi businessman. His unique laughter and Parsi accent made him one of the best comic actors of his time.

11. Viju Khote

Be it Roberts in Andaz Apna Apna, Kalia in Sholay, Shambu in Golmaal 3 or Vittal Bapurao Potel in Zabaan Sambhalke, Viju Khote aced every role to perfection. The actor who worked in over 450 films and TV shows, is sadly no more. He passed away due to multiple organ failure at the age of 77.
