Ponman shines but fails to beat Rekhachithram
Basil Joseph, who has impressed fans with his work in films such as Joji and Sookshmadarshini, is back in the limelight because of his latest release Ponman. The film made a decent impact at the domestic box office on its seventh day and ended its first week on a fair note. According to Sacnilk, a trade website, the black comedy netted Rs 39 lakh on Wednesday (February 5). This is slightly lower than the Rs 43 lakh it made on February 4.
