Prabhas to team up with Rishab Shetty for a film?
Prabhas has signed a three-film deal with Hombale Films, the production house behind Salaar. One of these films will be written by Rishab Shetty, the star and director of the 2022 blockbuster Kantara.
Prabhas is one of the biggest names in the film industry. The mass hero enjoys a strong fan following because of his larger-than-life screen presence and intense performances. He has also starred in blockbusters such as Baahubali 2 and Kalki 2898 AD and proved he is a massive crowd-puller. Now, in an exciting development, it appears that ¡®Darling is set to team up with Rishab Shetty for an ambitious film.
Prabhas to work with Kantara star Rishab Shetty
Prabhas has signed a three-film deal with Hombale Films, the banner behind Salaar and KGF. According to a report carried by Deccan Chronicle, one of these films will be written by actor-director Rishab Shetty. The Kantrara star, however, will not be wielding the microphone for the said project.
¡°They wanted a star-studded script for one of Prabhas's movies and they urged actor and director Rishab Shetty to provide an engaging script. He has assured to provide one script but he will not direct it,¡± revealed a source.
The source further said that the character will be designed in such a way that it does full justice to Prabhas¡¯ reel image.
On the work front
Prabhas, meanwhile, is working on The Raja Saab. The horror-comedy is directed by Maruthi and features the Saaho actor in a new avatar. It is slated to hit the screens in April 2025. Prabhas also has Spirit, directed by Sandeep Vanga, in his kitty. Additionally, he will be working on Salaar 2 and Kalki 2 over the next few years.
Rishab Shetty, on the other hand, will next be seen in Kantara Chapter 1. He is also set to play Lord Hanuman in the Telugu film Jai Hanuman. It is a sequel to the Sankranti blockbuster HanuMan Moreover, he recently announced that he will be seen as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in an upcoming historical drama.
