It also received positive reviews, which helped it witness growth on the second day. It kept the momentum going on its first Saturday (January 11) despite facing competition from the Sankranti releases Game Changer and Vanangaan.
Rekhachithram does well on day 3
Rekhachithram, starring Asif Ali, has found an audience despite being a relatively low-key release. According to Sacnilk, a trade website, the thriller earned Rs 3.3 crore (nett) in India on Saturday.
This is nearly 47% higher than the Rs 2.2 crore in made on Friday (January 10). Here is the day-wise breakdown for the film

The total collection stands at Rs 7.4 crore. Rekhachithram received positive reviews with critics praising the screenplay and the performances. The encouraging word-of-mouth worked in its favour. It also benefitted from the dull response to Game Changer in Kerala, where Shankar¡¯s political action drama collected ¡®zero share¡¯ on the first day.
