Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, Dhanush¡¯s third film as a director after Raayan and Pa Paandi, has failed to live up to expectations at the Indian box office. According to Manobala Vijayabalan, a trade analyst, it earned Rs 11.5 cr in India and ended up being a ¡®flop. ¡¯

¡°The film managed to gross around ?11.5 cr. It's a FLOP venture as the revenue generated from the box office couldn't match the budget spent,¡± he told Indiatimes.

As per Koimoi, an entertainment portal, it was shot on a budget of Rs 25 crore.

Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam received positive reviews with critics lauding the treatment and presentation. However, this didn¡¯t help the film as it faced a mighty opponent in Dragon. The Pradeep Ranganathan-led comedy drama collected a sensational Rs 117.2 crore in India during its full run.
