Vada Chennai 2: Not Dhanush but this fast rising actor to star in eagerly-awaited sequel?
Vada Chennai 2: Dhanush impressed fans with his work in Vada Chennai. He may, however, not reprise his role in the sequel. According to reports, he may be replaced by Manikandan. Moreover, Vetrimaaran may not direct it.

Dhanush is one of the biggest names in the Tamil film industry. He is loved by one and all because of his striking screen presence and intense performances. The star is now in the limelight for an unexpected reason. According to reports, the National Award winner will not be part of Vada Chennai 2.
Dhanush not part of Vada Chennai 2?
Vada Chennai is widely regarded as one of the finest films of Dhanush¡¯s career. The actioner, directed by Vetrimaaran, did well at the box office and received positive reviews. Now, its sequel is in the works.

However, there is a twist. According to Movie Tamil¨C a handle that covers South cinema- Dhanush will not be part of the sequel. Manikandan, the star of Kusdumbasthan, will step into D¡¯s shows for the sequel. Moreover, it won¡¯t be directed by Vetrimaaran. There's no word on the reason behind these changes. However, if the film does indeed get a new leading man, , it may take the Vada Chennai franchise in a new direction.
Busy time for Dhanush
Coming back to Dhanush, he is awaiting the release of Idly Kadai. The film, featuring Nithya Menen as the leading lady, is set to hit the screens in April. He also has the Hindi film Tere Ishk Mein, co-starring Kriti Sanon. It is directed by Aanand L Rai and touted to be an intense love story.
