A lot of episodes are left open-ended and episode 7 genuinely feels like a scheduled and on-point pause. The show has turned the fans upside down with its amazing mystery-building twists and turns. Here are some of the burning questions that we all have after the end of Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1.

What is Vecna¡¯s purpose?

Vecna has a messed-up way of killing and strangling people yet his purpose still remains unclear. The seventh episode of Season 4 gave out the origin of Vecna but his own words suggest that there is an ulterior personal motive that we don¡¯t know of yet. It seems like Vecna is on some quest for revenge but we just can¡¯t be sure of it. Whether it's a desire for his own brand of power or a need for vengeance, Vecna does not appear to be a figure who can be trusted to step aside for another leader when the time comes.
Why is Upside Down paused in 1983?

Stranger Things 4 has finally concentrated more on the mythology of the show. Apparently, The Upside Down is paused on November 6, 1983. This day was apparently the first time Demogorgon abducted Will and this is all where it all began. Although, this wasn¡¯t the first time The Upside Down was breached yet the time still being paused in 1983 does bring a lot of questions with it. One of the biggest questions is what was The Upside Down before 1983¡¯s incident and where was Vecna and why did she suddenly rise from this dark hell. No matter what the answer is, it¡¯s pretty clear that The Upside Down isn¡¯t just some other dimension but it has a history that we don¡¯t know much about.
Where are the other children from the lab?

It¡¯s quite clear that some kids were able to run off from the lab but their whereabouts are still unknown to us. Will Eleven try to communicate with them somehow or will she fight the war alone with Brenner. However if Eleven did assemble all the other patients, it would be an amazing ¡®Avengers Assemble¡¯ moment of the series. Although it does seem wild an ultimate psychotic war is about to happen in upcoming episodes and it isn¡¯t wrong to expect a few surprises.
Did Eleven finally gain all her powers back?

In the seventh episode, Eleven does gain some of her powers back by recalling what exactly happened at the 1979 massacre. Eleven remembered how she wasn¡¯t the actual troublemaker at that time and how One tricked her into doing all that she did. However, we still aren¡¯t sure of Eleven getting all her powers back, we just saw a teaser of it and we all hope the full powerhouse of Eleven is also revived. It would be really interesting to see what she does when she gets out of the laboratory.
What about the interference by Russia?

Russia is currently on the sidelines as the arc of Vecna and The Upside Down develops. Joyce and Barry took a trip to Alaska, in order to help Hopper get out of the prison. They finally reunite but they have to figure out a way to escape and since the battle of Starcourt in season 3 we still don¡¯t know how much they have upgraded themselves and whether they will play a major role in the upcoming battle of season 4.
What about Nancy¡¯s fate?
Vecna targets the weak who are worried about their past in one way or the other. Nancy doesn¡¯t fit the criteria but she is still stuck in the world of Vecna. Nancy does get too close to discovering his identity but he forces her to see visions of Barb. However, Vecna is unable to grasp full control over Nancy¡¯s mind and instead starts telling his backstory. Does he want to kill her or just want to keep her in his captivity, his intentions aren¡¯t clear yet we hope it will be in the upcoming part.
