DMRC shared on social media: ¡°Metro train services to start at 2:30 PM on Holi. On the day of the Holi festival, i.e., March 14, 2025 (Friday), Metro services will NOT be available till 2:30 PM on all Lines of the Delhi Metro, including the Airport Express Line.¡±
Once services restart, trains will run at normal intervals, ensuring easy travel for passengers after the festival celebrations.

Mumbai Metro Timings on Holi 2025
The Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1, which links Belapur to Taloja via Kharghar, will have a revised schedule for Holi. Trains will not operate in the morning and will restart from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, running every 15 minutes, according to the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO).
This metro route is an essential transport option for office workers and daily travellers due to its cost-effectiveness and reliability. Commuters who rely on this service are advised to check CIDCO¡¯s updates and consider other travel options if needed.
Kolkata Metro Timings on Holi 2025
On Holi, Kolkata Metro will run a reduced number of services. The Dakshineswar-New Garia (North-South) line will operate 60 services (30 in each direction) from 2:30 PM onwards, much fewer than the usual 262.
The Esplanade-Howrah Maidan (East-West) route will provide 42 services (21 each way) from 3:00 PM, significantly lower than the normal 130 services. Likewise, the Sealdah-Sector 5 (East-West) corridor will run only 22 services (11 in each direction) from 3:00 PM, compared to 106 on a regular weekday.
Since public transport in Kolkata is generally unavailable in the morning on Holi, metro officials have advised passengers to plan their journeys accordingly.
