Hina Khan shares new photos amid cancer battle: 'Everything hurts, lekin smile nahi jaani chahiye..'
In her recent post, Hina Khan shared her latest photos along with an emotional message saying that even though she cannot eat properly, 'smile nahi jaani chahiye'. This post comes after her last health update about suffering from Mucositis amid her ongoing cancer treatment.
Hina Khan, who is currently undergoing treatment for stage 3 breast cancer, took to Instagram to share her latest set of photos. In the photos, the actor can be seen smiling bravely as she takes selfies while wearing a black hooded jacket, white shirt and grey bandana. The former Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress has been very active on her social media and often shares her thoughts and feelings with her followers and also keeps them apprised of her health updates.

She captioned the post, "Everything Hurts,Lekin smile nahi jaani chahiye.. Haina? So many problems, can¡¯t even eat properly without feeling pain. But that¡¯s No reason to be negative. I choose to Smile and encourage myself. I tell myself that all this will be over and we will get through this (InshaAllah). One Smile at a Time"
Earlier in the day, Hina also shared a couple of photos on her Instagram stories that were a clear indication of how strong she is being through the difficult times. Sharing a post on the 1st Friday of Rabi-ul-Awal that read, ¡°May Allah accept every little Dua we make on this blessed day¡±.
Hina Khan shares Mucositis update
Revealing her difficulties with her fans and well-wishers, yesterday, Hina gave her fans a health update and shared that she has been suffering from Mucositis and asked her fans for useful remedies or suggestions. She shared that even though she's following the doctor's advice to treat it, she is still having significant difficulty eating.
Concerned fans took to her comment section to share their advice. One user wrote, "
Try coconut water, beetroot juice, icecream, custard', while another added, "
Use psyllium husk(sargol ) it¡¯s really helpful"
What is Mucositis?
According to Hina's post, mucositis is one of the many side effects of chemotherapy, that she has been undergoing as part of her ongoing breast cancer treatment. As per the NIH website, oral mucositis is tissue swelling as well as irritation in the mouth.
