1) Monk's Mule
Ingredients:
60ml Old monk
15ml ginger juice
handful of mint leaves
60ml fresh pineapple juice
1 can of ginger Ale
10ml sugar syrup
10ml fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
- In a glass, muddle the sugar syrup, fresh lemon juice and mint leaves together.
- Fill the glass with ice cubes and add ginger juice, pineapple juice and rum.
- Mix everything together and top it up with a ginger ale.
- Garnish with ginger and a mint sprig.
- Enjoy your spicy Monk's Mule!
2) Bombay Gulabo
Ingredients:
45ml Old Monk
? orange
30ml Roohafza
20ml lemon juice
mint leaves
jal-jeera powder
soda
mint spring (for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a tall glass combine old monk, Roohafza and orange chunks and mix well.
- To the mix, add a pinch of jal-jeera powder and stir it in.
- Fill the glass with ice and top it off with a splash of soda
- Garnish with an orange wedge and mint sprig.
- Your Bombay Gulabo is ready to be enjoyed.
3) Old Barrel
Ingredients:
90ml Old Monk
30ml sugar syrup
120ml chilled mango juice
60ml chilled pineapple juice
25ml lemon juice
15ml cranberry juice
soda
Instructions:
- To a shaker add ice and combine mango, pineapple, lemon and cranberry juices.
- Now add sugar syrup and rum and shake well to mix everything together
- Transfer the mix to a chilled glass and top it up with a splash of soda
- Stir everything together with spoon and add more ice if needed.
- Enjoy your bubbly Old barrel!
4) Hot Chocolate Rum
Ingredients:
30 ml Old Monk
150 ml hot cocoa
1 tablespoon whipped cream
1 teaspoon sugar
Instructions:
- Add rum and hot cocoa to a classic Irish coffee cup and add sugar to taste.
- Add whipped cream on top and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Enjoy your sweet and boozy delight!
5) Monk Julep
Ingredients:
40 ml Old Monk
5 ml sugar syrup
? cucumber
2 sprigs of mint
Instructions:
- Pour the sugar syrup over the cucumber and mint leaves in a tall glass.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Top it with rum and stir it in.
- Garnish with mint sprig and enjoy!
6) Zoo-Monk
Ingredients:
? pineapple
60ml pineapple Juice
10ml sweet and sour mix
45ml Old Monk
basil leaves (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Mash chunks of pineapple and add them to a shaker filled with ice.
- Now add rum, pineapple juice and sweet and sour mix, and give it a good shake.
- Strain the mix and transfer it to a tall glass.
- Garnish with basil leaves and serve.
