Time and time again we have seen Natasa enjoying a bowl of delicious oatmeal along with either a refreshing juice or a black coffee like today. The diva starts her day on a healthy note with this protein-packet breakfast which seems to be the secret to her fitness and toned figure! Natasa topped her oats with chia seeds, nuts, grapes and bananas. Oatmeal is a nutritious and quick breakfast idea that you can meal-prep even in advance for those busy mornings. Here's an easy recipe for a delicious meal.
Easy recipe for oatmeal
Ingredients
I cup rolled/steel-cut oats
2 cups milk
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 tsp of honey/agave
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp nut butter (almond/peanut) - optional
chopped nuts (almonds and walnuts)
Fresh fruit for topping (banana/apple/grapes/berries etc)
Recipe
- In a medium pan add milk and bring it to a boil. Now add oats and cook them for about 5-10 minutes while stirring in between.
- Once the oats have absorbed the milk and softened, add chia seeds, cinnamon powder, vanilla extract and sweetener and cook for a couple of minutes to combine, and then take them off the heat.
- Add the cooked oats to your bowl, top with freshly cut fruits of your choice and chopped nuts. Enjoy!
- To add some healthy fats you can also add a spoon of nut butter to your oats.
