Artificial intelligence AI--the ability of computers and other machines to work intelligently without human intervention--is bound to impact the world in stellar ways. Aditi Avasthi, Chandralika Hazarika, Ashwini Asokan and Meghna Saraogi are some of the Indian women who are killing it in the artificial intelligence AI industry.

1. Aditi Avasthi, Founder and CEO, Embibe

An MBA graduate, Chandralika has earlier worked at ITC and Space Matrix. The marketing professional, who has about 10 years of experience, was always keen on developing simple but highly intuitive tech products that could be adopted by any and everyone. Today, her company Big Thinx's flagship product, the Lyflike app, lets you create your own customised clothing by controlling materials, size, lengths, style, fit, mixing and matching, and viewing them on personalised, walkabout avatars in immersive simulation. Here, a user gets to engage in immersive shopping through real-time visual searches and virtual reality, too.
3. Ashwini Asokan, CEO, Mad Street Den
Ashwini Asokan's brilliant innovation can be witnessed in her company's flagship product Vue.ai. Vue.ai is the retail industry¡¯s leading artificial intelligence platform that promises Intelligent Retail Automation. Using Image Recognition & Data Science, Vue.ai extracts product data from images, analyzes it along with user behaviour thereby helping different retail teams make better, faster decisions.
