Cleanse, hydrate, and protect
¡°I¡¯ve found it to be the most simple yet effective routine I¡¯ve practiced. And for anything more complex, I've sought the advice of a dermatologist,¡± she said. She added in her interview that she was a professional badminton player at 16 and didn't have any proper understanding of skincare. She only used to wash her face with water. But after entering the modelling industry, she learned these three steps and abided by them religiously.

Cleanse
For cleansing, Deepika goes for the basics. She uses face wash and washes her face with cold water. Other than that, she uses ice on her face, which, according to her, is a pick-me-up.
Hydrate
For hydration, Deepika goes for a moisturiser or a face oil. Whatever works for her to keep her skin plump and hydrated without fail.
Protect
For protection, applying sunscreen is a must. Deepika religiously applies sunscreen twice a day, no matter if she is indoors or outdoors. UV-ray protection is important despite not seeing the sun.
Removing makeup before sleeping
One last added tip by the actor is to remove the makeup religiously before sleeping. No matter how long the day is, Deepika never skips removing and cleaning her makeup before hitting the bed.
