1) Shared her love for typical Indian food like 'bhindi and 'aam ka achar'
In her recent Instagram story, Priyanka reposted a video featuring a Noida kid named Cheeku who is cutely expressing her love for 'bhindi' (okra) with the message, ¡°Same. bhindi squad.¡± Priyanka is known for her love for Indian food and regularly shares photos where she is proudly indulging in Indian snacks like 'dahi puri' or 'kebabs'. Also, a couple of years ago during a promotional event, Priyanka shared her love for homemade 'aam ka achar' and said that she enjoys pairing it with cheese sandwiches.

2) Enthusiastic dance at the Ambani wedding
During her most recent visit to India Priyanka attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's extravagant wedding and several videos of hers went viral where she was seen happily dancing during the groom's 'baraat' procession. In fact when she shared photos from the event she captioned the post saying, "Clearly I missed chaat and dancing at baraats!"
3) Respect for Indian customs
A while ago, Priyanka shared a series of photos with her daughter Malti Marie Jonas where Malti was seen sporting a black thread on her wrist and ankle. Indian fans were all praises for the global icon and left comments saying, "Lives in abroad still follow the simple culture for her daughter, like black anklet and black threads bangles for her little one, just like an Indian mother, love this @priyankachopra."
4) Followed desi 'nushke'
In a recent post on her Instagram, Priyanka shared a short video clip where she was seen rubbing garlic cloves on her feet after shooting a particularly challenging stunt for her upcoming project. When netizens expressed their concern for her, she went on to highlight how this a 'desi nushka' that helps with inflammation as well as fever.

5) Regular temple visits
Whenever she can she makes it a point to visit the temple, particularly on special occasions just like all Indians. And has even made it a routine to take her daughter along. During her recent visits, Priyanka took her daughter along to the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai as well as the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya and shared photos of both excursions on her social media.
6) Celebration of Indian festivals
No matter where the global star resides, she makes it a point to still stay true to her roots. Whether it is the annual 'Karva Chauth' fast or the grand Diwali celebrations, Priyanka makes it a point to celebrate all Indian festivals with pomp and show going as far as invinting all her foreign friends and making them a part of her grand celebrations.
