With this, now a domestic passenger will need only a mobile e-boarding card and Aadhaar Card number to gain entry into the airport and covers all the boarding processes right from entry into the terminal building of the airport to boarding the aircraft.
They just need to flash the E-boarding card at e-Gate bar code readers as they proceed towards the boarding entry point.
Fliers, however are given the freedom to follow the traditional process of showing a photo-identification (ID) to gain entry into the airport in case Aadhaar number is not available.
