Russia was scheduled to hold a joint drill with 200 military Russian and Pakistani personnel, called &Friendship 2016*, in &mountainous regions* possibly a reference to PoK. Russia said it was "concerned about the fact that, according to New Delhi, the army base was attacked from Pakistani territory".
2. America 每 cancelled bilateral talks with Pakistan at UN General Assembly
U.S President Barack Obama has cancelled his bilateral talks scheduled with Nawaz Sharif at the United Nations General Assembly.
US Secretary of State John Kerry in fact spoke out about what is considered an open secret 每 Pakistan as a shelter to terror.
"The Secretary reiterated the need for Pakistan to prevent all terrorists from using Pakistani territory as safe havens," a State Department readout of Kerry's meetinag with Sharif said. 4. Afghanistan is telling India to boycott SAARC
India has found support from Afghanistan in its diplomatic offensive against Pakistan. Afghan envoy to India Shaida Mohammad Abdali said that countries in the region should come together to boycott the Saarc summit in November, over the host nation's role in "destabilising" the neighbourhood.
We have to make sure that we bring the maximum number of countries and I am sure most of the countries in South Asia are in line with what Afghanistan and India think," Abdali said. He said the country spoiling regional stability should be singled out.
5. Bangladesh also might join the boycott against SAARC
Bangladesh also might participate in a boycott at the SAARC summit in Pakistan, to protest aginst state sponsored terrorism. Along with Afghanistan and India, Bangladesh has also suffered from Pakistan sponsored terrorism. Instead, the 3 will reportedly unite for a Victim of State Sponsored Terror Conference, speaking about Pakistan sponsored terrorism.
