Another Artist Runs Crusade Against Potholes, Fills Them Creatively To Make A Point
Over 10,000 people succumbed to death because of potholes in 2016 alone, and we¡¯re beginning to lose count of how many we have lost this year.

Potholes, single-handedly, seem to be claiming more lives than an epidemic. With dilapidated, broken and poorly constructed roads the safety concerns are only growing and the fear is very real.

In a bid to protest, remind the government of its duty, and come up with creative solutions, once again, popular artist Baadal Nanjundaswamy took it to the roads to display art and rebuke against these road pits.

He transformed the pothole-ridden road with amazing art near Cubbon Park Junction area. To add a little punch, the artist had a mermaid sit around the pothole, her tail half dipped in the water.
Many such protests have happened in the past where people have planted tiny plants on the road. Some of them even went on to put a big crocodile, just to grab government's attention, but everything falls on dumb ears.
Let's hope that with time and more such protests, we get the roads we deserve.
