Delhi's Iconic Taj Mansingh Hotel Is Now A COVID-19 Facility As Cases Spike In The Capital
Taj Mansingh hotel will provide all the services, including rooms, housekeeping, disinfection, and foods to COVID-19 patients
Delhi's iconic Taj Mansingh hotel has now reserved all of its rooms for the novel coronavirus patients, in wake of the skyrocketing COVID-19 numbers in the national capital.
The Delhi government has directed aj Mansingh hotel to isolate all their rooms and place them at disposal of Sir Gangaram Hospital with immediate effect for accommodating COVID-19 patients.

Delhi currently has more than 42,000 COVID-19 cases, the third highest number of infections in India after Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.
Taj Mansingh hotel will provide all the services, including rooms, housekeeping, disinfection, and foods to COVID-19 patients.
The hotel is located in the heart of Lutyen's Delhi and is the flagship property of the Tata Group and has been under its ownership since 1978.
The directive comes as the national capital deals with shortage of hospital beds in wake of the rising COVID cases. The hotel staff will be provided all protective gear and basic training of health crisis handling. The hospital will compensate for the shortage of hotel staff and will be in charge of treatment and providing ambulance services.
"The charge shall be collected by hospital and the hospital shall make the payment to hotel," the order said.
The hospital can also accommodate their doctor, nurse and other paramedical staff in the hotel at their own expenses after deciding the rates mutually.
