Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport Named World's Second Best In Passenger Handling!
Delhis Indira Gandhi International Airport IGIA has been named the worlds second best as largest airport. The airport also shares its spot with Mumbais Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and Singapores Changi Airport.
In an announcement made by Delhi International Airport Ltd. (DIAL) on Monday, Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) has been named the world's second best as largest airport.
In other words, the IGIA brings the second highest passenger handling capacity - with over 40 million passengers per annum (MPPA) - as adjudged by the Airports Council International (ACI).

The airport also shares its spot with Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and Singapore's Changi Airport. Delhi's International Airport bagged the second position worldwide, second only to Incheon Airport, South Korea.

DIAL highlighted that the airport recorded amazing improvement after GMR-led consortium took over its management and operations in 2006. Also, DIAL pointed out how IGIA's ASQ score registered a substantial growth from 4.96 in 2015 to 4.99 in 2016.
