Doctor-Turned-MLA Saves Life Of An Injured Man On Road After No One Helped Him Fearing COVID
The man met with an accident and was lying on the road crying for help after his motorcycle collided with a truck at Piduguralla on the way from Guntur at around 6 am on Thursday. When nobody helped him Sridevi MLA from Tadikonda who is a doctor by profession rushed to the aid of the man.
An MLA came forward to save the life of an injured man lying on the road after no one tried to help him fearing COVID infection.
The man met with an accident and was lying on the road crying for help after his motorcycle collided with a truck at Piduguralla on the way from Guntur at around 6 am on Thursday.
When nobody helped him, Sridevi, MLA from Tadikonda, who is a doctor by profession, rushed to the aid of the man.

Sridevi was passing the area when she saw the man lying in a pool of blood and immediately stopped her convoy. She quickly alerted the local police authorities but also gave the man emergency medical assistance.
"The locals fearing coronavirus did not even make the slightest effort to approach the injured man. I immediately got out of my vehicle and approached the injured man wearing gloves and masks and checked the pulse,¡± she told India Today.
After the police were informed about the accident, they arrived and the man was rushed to a nearby hospital.
