It¡¯s not just the 18 soldiers, but 18 families that have been affected. The family of Havildar Ravi Pal is in mourning. His cousin was informed by the Army that Ravi had been killed in the attacks.
According to a report in Indian Express, he was to move from Uri in two days time. His wife Geeta had been looking forward to spending time with him and had moved with their children, 11 and 7, to Pathankot 20 days ago. Unfortunately that was not to be.
