If Delhi's Pollution Wasn't Already Bad Enough, A Garbage Dump In The Capital Has Been On Fire For Three Weeks
The AAP government reintroduced the odd-even traffic restrictions last week in an effort to curb the pollution in the national capital. But now they have a burning problem, quite literally, in their backyard, which the government does not seem to have noticed.

Two of Delhi's three garbage landfills are on fire, filling the air with toxic smoke making the lives of locals a literal hell.
According to NDTV, Delhi's largest garbage dump in Bhalswa, which spans over 40 acres has been emitting thick smoke for the last 20 days as a mountain of thrash is still burning.

Even though some fire tenders have been pushed into service, the outbreak is yet to be brought under control as around 50 small fires have been reported in various parts of the dump.
