Muslim Neighbours Lift Bier, Chant 'Ram Naam Satya Hai' For Deceased Hindu Man In Uttar Pradesh
Muslim men lent a helping hand and carried the deceased to the funeral ground. Ravi Shankar a poor man living in Anand Vihar Bulandshahr died on Saturday Due to coronavirus nationwide lockdown his relatives could not come to attend his funeral.
Even as the country is fighting the deadly coronavirus pandemic, incidents of religious harmony between different communities are heartening amidst the despair.
In Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshar, when a man who died had no relatives to carry and take him to the funeral pyre, Muslim men in the neighbourhood lent a helping hand and carried the deceased to the funeral ground.
Ravi Shankar, a poor man living in Anand Vihar, Bulandshahr, died on Saturday.
Due to coronavirus nationwide lockdown, his relatives could not come to attend his funeral. However, his locality had many Muslim neighbours, who along with Ravi Shankar's son, carried the deceased man to the crematorium.
Ravi Shankar's son had called relatives, other family members and friends intimating them about his father's death. But they could not come due to the lockdown.

In Bulandshahr, a man named Ravishankar died because of the #Coronavirus fear, none of his relatives came to lift the bier. His Muslim neighbours came & lifted the bier and also chanted "Ram Naam Satya hai" in the funeral procession.

Seeing the plight of the grieving son, Muslim neighbours carried the body to the funeral ground and even chanted "Ram naam satya hai", as is commonly chanted by Hindus while carrying a dead body to be cremated.
India has so far reported 979 coronavirus positive cases, including 25 deaths.
