Pakistan's Official Video For The Inauguration Of Kartarpur Corridor Has Bhindranwale, Other Khalistani Separatists
Pakistan has managed to turn what would otherwise be a joyous moment for the Sikh community into an opportunity to spread the Khalistani agenda. Pakistan launched what it described as the official song of the Kartarpur Corridor Opening ceremony. The video of the song which shows Sikh pilgrims visiting various shrines has the posters of Khalistan separatist leaders in the background.
No matter what they are doing, Pakistan will always somehow find some way to drag its anti-India propaganda into it. So, the inauguration of Kartarpur Corridor is no different.

On Monday, with much celebration, Pakistan launched what it described as the official song of the Kartarpur Corridor Opening ceremony.
The song was released by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan. The video of the song which shows Sikh pilgrims visiting various shrines has the posters of Khalistan separatist leaders Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, Maj Gen Shabeg Singh and Amrik Singh Khalsa in the background in one part.
Bhindranwale was the head of Sikh religious sect Damdami Taksal. Major General Shabeg Singh was an Indian Army general who joined the Khalistan movement in 1984 after he was stripped of his rank on charges of corruption just before his retirement. Amrik Singh Khalsa was a Khalistani student leader who headed the now-banned All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSD).
They were killed in Operation Blue Star by the Indian Army inside the Golden Temple in June 1984, an incident that has remained an unhealed wound among many Sikhs.
Interestingly the video shared by the Pakistan government on Twitter doesn't feature the posters, but the one shared on Facebook has.

There is also another poster which features Bhindranwale and calls for Referendum 2020 a separatists movement led by a Khalistani group based in the US called "Sikhs for Justice".
This is not the first time Pakistan has been accused of promoting the Khalistani separatists in India and around the world.
Punjab Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh, had earlier raised concerns that Pakistan could misuse the corridor to revive Sikh militancy in Punjab. Several Indian intelligence agencies and experts have also questioned Pakistan's intentions of opening the route.
