To Delay Flight, Jaipur Man Makes Hoax Bomb Threat Call To IndiGo, Arrested
Mohit Kumar Tank allegedly made the hoax call around 5:30 am to IndiGo Airlines call center claiming that there was bomb onboard the 6E 218 flying from Jaipur to Mumbai. The airline immediately reported the matter to Bomb Threat Assessment Committee BTAC and followed all laid down security protocols. Nothing was found and the flight which had taken off before the call reached the authorities in Mumbai safely.
A Jaipur-based TV dance reality TV show choreographer was arrested by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) from the city airport for making a hoax bomb threat.
The man, identified as Mohit Kumar Tank allegedly made the hoax call around 5:30 am to IndiGo Airlines call center claiming that there was bomb onboard the 6E 218 flying from Jaipur to Mumbai.

The airline immediately reported the matter to Bomb Threat Assessment Committee (BTAC) and followed all laid down security protocols. The authorities concerned carried out the investigation and declared the call as ¡®specific bomb threat¡¯.
However, nothing was found and, the flight which had taken off before the call reached the authorities in Mumbai safely.

The airline, later identified that one particular passenger who had missed the flight and called him up to assure that he will get the ticket to the next flight once he reached the airport.
Tank, was taken into custody and handed over to police once he reached the airport.
According to police, he made the hoax call fearing that he could not reach the airport on time for the flight.
