Promoting Atmanirbhar Bharat Initiative, Madhya Pradesh Woman Makes Rakhis Using Cow Dung
Promoting PM Narendra Modi vision of "Aatmanirbhar Bharat", Madhya Pradesh Indore's Shweta Paliwal has made eco-friendly rakhis and ganesha idols by using cow dung for Rakshabandhan and Ganesh Chaturthi.
Trying to incorporate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of being ¡®Aatmanirbhar Bharat', a resident of Indore, Shweta Paliwal has created eco-friendly rakhis, Ganesha Idols and some other decorative items carved out of cow dung, ahead of Rakshabandhan and Ganesh Chaturthi.
Making Eco-Friendly Decorative Items By Using Cow Dung
The maker, Shweta is promoting the ¡°Aatma Nirbhar India¡± and is boycotting Chinese goods. However, she also seemed willing to send these eco-friendly rakhis and idols to PM Narendra Modi.
Amid coronavirus pandemic, she is also designing masks and starting even painting them with beautiful art. For home decor, she is designing sculptures and decorative items.
"I am making these things from scrap material keeping the protection of nature in my mind. I started working on designing these rakhis and sculpture last year and now I am training others as well. These rakhis are bio-degradable and can be easily dissolved in water and plants. I am working to promote PM's Atmanirbhar Bharat and local for vocal campaign", she was quoted to as saying by news agency ANI.
