Royal Couple Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Will Invite 2,640 General People To Their Wedding
The Royal wedding will be on 19 May.
Prince Harry and his fiancee Meghan Markle will open up the grounds of Windsor Castle for their May wedding to 2,640 people from different walks of life to celebrate their big day with commoners.
The Kensington Palace said this and the guest will come from across the United Kingdom and will be able to watch the royals arrive and see their carriage procession after the ceremony. The date is May 19.
This number doesn¡¯t include those invited to the ceremony at the castle¡¯s St George¡¯s Chapel which can host 800.
"Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle have said they want their Wedding Day to be shaped so as to allow members of the public to feel part of the celebrations too," the palace said in a statement. "This wedding, like all weddings, will be a moment of fun and joy that will reflect the characters and values of the Bride and Groom."
About 1200 people will be the member of general public and around 200 will be the guests from charities and other organisations supported by the couple along with local school children.
