Etihad Sends Customer Feedback Survey To 6-Year-Old, Gets An Honest Response And 1 Out Of 10 Rating
Mark Ross-Smith, the CEO of a Singapore-based company recently took to social media to share how his six-year-old daughter's review of the business class of Etihad Airways. "Etihad sent a survey to my 6-year-old daughter about her recent flight experience in business class. I let my daughter answer the survey without any influence. It was a bloodbath," he wrote.
It is common practice for airlines across the world to send an email asking for feedback on their recent flight. While most of us ignore such emails, some do respond.
Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways recently got one such response, which if anything was a bit too straight forward. And that too came from a six-year-old girl.
6-year-old reviews Etihad flight experience

Some of her feedbacks included:
Flight was bad because her school friends were not on it.
Kids meal was not good, because it lacked chocolate.
Hot towel service was not offered to kids.- Biz + economy kids packs, identical... she wanted more.
"Videos didn't start until we take off", ie: IFE on Etihad doesn't start until airborne.
No pyjamas.

What is even worse is that when asked if she would "recommend Etihad to friends and family" the response was 1 out of 10.
And the reason for it - Emirates crew gave her chocolates while Etihad did not.

How to win the six-year-old back
Smith further made an offer on how to Etihad to change things around.
"my daughter likes chocolate... I'm Platinum, and we're flying again this Friday.... wow her and I promise you'll win the internet," he wrote.
Responding to the post that has gone viral, Etihad Airways said: Hope we can get a 5-star review next time if we do a roll call: "Calling all school buddies, please report to Etihad's boarding gate for a reunion in the sky and get lots of chocolate!
