The publication notes, "While the jollity may look slightly different from city to city, these global destinations keep the holiday cheer going year after year. And if you already have your plans solidified for this upcoming season, it's never too early to start planning a fabulous winter vacation for 2024."
Where and when?
Dominating the list this year is Quebec, with both Montreal and Quebec City earning well-deserved spots, solidifying the province's reputation for spreading joy and festive enchantment during the Christmas season. The list was reportedly published in September 2023.
Why?
Cond¨¦ Nast Traveler states Montreal is Canada's chicest city, with cosy French restaurants and high-end shopping. It also mentioned its "over-the-top festivals" and Euro-feels.
