Tragic Photographs Capture The Devastation That China Floods Have Unleashed On The People

According to reports, floods in northern and central China have killed over 150 people and displaced thousands from their homes.

Chinese provinces of Henan and Hebei have been the worst hit by flash floods and landslides. Nearly 53,000 homes have been destroyed and hundreds of people have gone missing in Hebei, whereas in Henan, 72,000 people have been forced out of their homes.

Several crop fields have been destroyed as well, resulting in villagers' protests. According to South China Morning Post, police were sent to unblock a road held by villagers protesting against the government for its deficient flood warning and inadequate rescue operations.

The tragedy, captured on the lens, reveals the utter devastation of life and property that this natural disaster has bred.
