After his shoulder-bump incident with Australian debutant Sam Konstas, Virat Kohli has remained unfazed by the fans' reactions following the drama at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Day 2 of the 4th Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy saw the crowd at the MCG charged up, with Aussie fans booing and Indian fans cheering for the star batter.
The chants intensified when he was near the boundary rope and also became loud when he walked out to bat. However, Kohli, who enjoys this ¡ª be it the boos or the cheers ¡ª absorbed all the chants and even reacted to the crowd.

With numerous videos making the rounds on social media about the fan reaction, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) also took to their Instagram page and shared two camera angles of the crowd's reaction to Virat Kohli.
They captioned the video, saying, "The chants had begun even before he stepped out to bat, and he's now looking in great touch! How many runs are you expecting from the master of big moments, 12th Man Army?"

As of writing this article, the Men in Blue faced back-to-back blows, losing both set batters Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli ¡ª who had formed a strong partnership.

On Day 1, Andy Pycroft, the match referee for the ongoing Test at the MCG, deemed the shoulder-bump incident a Level One offence, resulting in a fine from the match fee. Kohli was fined 20% of his match fee and given one demerit point for the on-field altercation.
