As fans gear up for another exciting tournament, they will be eager to watch the opening match between the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), and Gujarat Giants (GG) at Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara.

WPL 2025 opening ceremony
Adding to the excitement, Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana and renowned singer Madhubanti Bagchi will perform at the WPL 2025 opening ceremony. This year's theme, "Sherniya," celebrates the strength and courage of women in sports.
However, according to posts shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) by WPL, these performances will take place during the mid-innings breaks.

Ayushmann Khurrana will perform during the mid-innings break on February 14, while Madhubanti Bagchi is set to perform during the mid-innings break on Saturday, February 15.
