Rishabh Pant Shows His Daredevilry, Bounces Back After Father's Death To Thump Half Century Against RCB
Delhi Daredevils lost the match despite Pant's heroics
There's more to Rishabh Pant than just daredevilry. The attacking left-handed batsman proved this fact last night during a match against Royal Challengers Bangalore by scoring a swashbuckling 36-ball 57 just two days after his father's demise.
Pant mourned the death of his father on Wednesday night, then joined his team on Saturday to play against the Bangalore side. He performed the last rites of his father Rajendra Pant in Haridwar on Thursday. Pant's father passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest during his sleep on Wednesday night.

Despite all that, Pant showed grit and determination and breezed to his half-century. He tried to keep Delhi in the hunt with attacking srokeplay but no batsman from the other end could maintain the right balance.
Eventually, Delhi succumbed to 142/9 in 20 overs while chasing a target of 157.
Pant might have not won Delhi the match against RCB, but he's sure earned enough respect for himself.
