WWE has reportedly finalised the opponent for John Cena on his last outing at WrestleMania later this year. According to reports, John Cena will face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 in April.

Cena to win another championship?
Another interesting development, Meltzer noted, is the possibility of Cena breaking the record he holds with Ric Flair for winning 16 world championships each.
According to Meltzer, the idea of Cena trying to break the world title reign record had been a ¡°working idea¡± for months. If the current plan goes ahead, Rhodes could go into WrestleMania 41 as the WWE Champion to have a main event clash with Cena.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful also reported that a match between John Cena and Cody Rhodes was the working plan for WrestleMania 41. Sapp noted that this was said to be the plan as far back as mid-November.
John Cena retirement tour
The 47-year-old Cena had last year announced that 2025 would be his last year as a full-time wrestler. Cena is set to kickstart his farewell tour starting on January 6, on Raw's Netflix debut.
Cena, who is expected to make around 36 WWE appearances around the world in 2025, has already confirmed his participation in this year's Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and Elimination Chamber.
